Dr Claude Capelli Dentist Claude graduated from University of Queensland in 1986 with first class honours. He spent his first years practising with Dr. Keith Bond at Acacia Ridge. In 1995, he purchased an existing practice on Old Cleveland Rd. at Camp Hill and remained there until the practice had grown to such a degree that he relocated to Samuel St. in 2001 to a larger premises. Claude has had many years experience in all facets of dentistry and has built a reputation for providing exceptional clinical treatment for his patients. His special interests include orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry,implants and surgery and has undertaken extensive continuing education in these areas. Away from work, Claude spends many hours volunteering his time coaching junior soccer at the local soccer club and local boy's college. His wife, Katrina, works at the practice part-time also, in between working as a pharmacist and organising their 3 children. Dr Lisa Chatterton Dentist Lisa graduated from University of Queensland in 1989. In 1995, she went on to complete a post graduate diploma in Education as she has always had a keen interest in children's dentistry and oral health education for her patients. Her goals are to provide excellent general dentistry and dental care so that she can help her patients achieve healthy teeth for a lifetime. At home, Lisa spends most of her time looking after her 2 young children and together they enjoy bike riding, swimming and gardening. Dr Michael Bailey Dentist Michael graduated from the University of Queensland in 1985 with honours. He began working in a practice at Queen St in the city, with Dr Brian Crowther and Dr Barry Holmes. Under their guidance, he gained extensive experience in aesthetic and general dentistry and continued to work there over the next 20 years, until their retirement. Not long after, the opportunity arose to work at a suburban practice and begin a new challenge in his career. So in July, 2007, he moved to Samuel Street Dental Practice where he has become an integral part of the team, always providing excellent and quality dental care for his patients. When he isn't practising, he spends time with his wife and growing teenage daughters, and has also been known to enjoy a weekly game of golf or two. Jacky & Natasha Jacky began dental nursing with Dr Capelli in 1987 at a practice in Acacia Ridge and they continued to work there together until 1995. In 1999, Jacky joined our team and has since gone on to become the Practice Manager. During her 20 years experience in the dental industry, Jacky has acquired a high level of clinical and management expertise. She manages the team and co-ordinates the exceptional service you will experience each time you visit us at Samuel Street Dental Practice. Natasha is a senior member of our clinical dental nursing and administration team. She has been at the practice for 7 years during which time she has gained vast experience in all facets of dental and patient care. Natasha is always available to assist with any questions about your dental needs. Megan, Preah, Leisa , Carly Clinical Dental Nurses As the backbone of the clinical team, our dental nurses are highly trained and skilled in all areas of dental and patient care. Infection control, radiation exposure, equipment, stock maintenance and patient comfort are a vital part of any modern practice. They will assist your dentist to provide you with the highest possible standard of care. |
